If you're interested in why organic sweeteners may actually be better than regular sweeteners such as table sugar and those listed above, one of the reasons is that they are healthier overall. They don't unnecessarily raise your insulin levels and they certainly don't contribute to the hundred of extra calories that are present in everyday foods.
